My name is Rocco Foggio. I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and come from a long line of great athletes. I attended the powerhouse Birmingham Brother Rice High School where I played and excelled at several sports. Football was the sport that I performed the best at and afforded me the opportunity to play at the next level of college competition. In high school, I was listed on the Detroit Free Press top 20 prospects list … First Team All-State Class A (second largest in the state) … Super Prep All-Midwest Team … Blue Chip All-Midwest Region … All-Metro and All-Catholic League. I was a two-way tackle in high school, but I was primarily recruited as a defensive lineman. I received a full athletic scholarship to attend Purdue University where I played defensive end and defensive tackle and was a four-year letterman. I played in all 49 career games and in 2000 we were Big Ten Champs and represented the Big Ten in the 2001 Rose Bowl. I also played in the 1997 & 1998 Alamo Bowls and the 2000 Outback Bowl. Following college, I played professionally for four years. Since then, I have coached high school football for the past 10 years. Football is my passion and I have enjoyed coaching, but the last 11 years I have dedicated myself to helping all those student athletes with the abilities to play at the next level and giving them an opportunity to achieve their goal, and that is the sole purpose of RockSolid Sports Performance.
